As stakeholders, the public, private, and nonprofit sectors all have major roles and often shared responsibilities when it comes to sustainable and efficient water use. As new challenges and opportunities emerge, it is crucial that all three sectors work in closer partnership.
Participate in a diverse and strategic multi-stakeholder panel to discuss shared responsibilities between the public and private sectors in sustainable water use, while also examining the emerging importance of water footprinting and joint advocacy. In addition, we will examine: What is the role of EPA on these matters? How can a global standard for water stewardship be developed and implemented? How is the private sector working with local water utilities? And, how can all sectors advocate for better infrastructure, justify, and effectively?
