E6: Design Competition

Where: Orange County Convention Center, Room 103, Level 1
Two competitions will be held at WEFTEC.09, a Wastewater Design competition that includes a traditional wastewater design project (hydraulic, capacity design, upgrades to existing systems, biosolids handling etc...) and an Environmental Design competition that includes the current contemporary engineering topics (sustainability, water reuse, wetland construction, etc...). Member Associations proudly select their best Student Chapter Design Team to participate in this annual WEFTEC Design Competition. Each design team will receive a recognition plaque / each team member will receive a certificate. Through sponsorships, award money will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place winners from the Wastewater Design and Environmental Design competitions. Plan to attend the competition and provide support to these outstanding young water environment professionals.
